| I'm saying a prayer: Taylor Swift donated $5,000 to GoFundMe page for teen fan who died in car crash
She's created a reputation for being one of the nicest celebrities around.
And on Friday Billboard revealed that Taylor Swift had donated $5,000 to a GoFundMe account set up to pay for funeral arrangements for a teenage fan.
Kimi Carter, 16, from Ringgold, Georgia, told the music publication that the Bad Blood singer had also posted a sweet message to the family following the death of her 18-year-old sister Katie Beth in a car crash last month.
Swift had left a note on the GoFundMe page that read: 'Kimi, no words can express how sorry I am for your loss. I know that you will keep Katie’s memory alive.'
'Please know how much I am thinking of you and I’m saying a prayer for your family. All My Love, Taylor.'
Kimi told Billboard: 'Somehow, Taylor Swift reached out to me exactly when I needed it the most.'
'I felt more at peace. Katie was up there, pulling strings for me, trying to make this a little easier to get through,' she added. |
