| Swift beatz? Pop princess Taylor calls on rumoured rapper flame Drake 'to help give her music a hip-hop vibe'
She made her fame with catchy country-pop hits such as Love Story and You Belong With Me.
However after five chart-topping albums, it has been reported that Taylor Swift is keen to change up her sound - and has called on her rumoured flame Drake to do so.
According to The Sun, the pop princess, 26, has approached the 30-year-old rapper, who she is rumoured to be dating, to help her give her music a more urban and R&B vibe.
A source told the paper: 'Taylor is always looking at ways to grow as an artist and really wants to try something different and unexpected for the next album.'
Taylor appeared to transition from traditional country to pop with her last album 1989, released October 2014 - with many of the songs featuring synthesizers and heavy bass lines as opposed to acoustic guitar sounds.
However it has now been reported that Taylor wants to progress into an edgier hip-hop style, and has called on the Grammy award-winning rapper for his expertise. |
