R A [Suntrip Records/Altar Records] (NOR)
Exclusive live show from the Norwegian psytrance legends (established 1994) who will also be releasing a brand new album prior to this event! RA was first founded in 1994 by Christer Borge-Lunde and Lars W. Lind. In 1998 Chris and Lars went their separate ways and Christer Borge-Lunde continued RA primarily as a solo project, while Lars continued working on other projects. In 1998 RA was signed with Blue Moon Productions UK and the first single Azure Child was released. In 1999 and 2000 RA was working with Blue Moon Thailand and collaborated with Charlie Clarke which contributed on the album "To Sirius". The album was first released in Thailand in 2000 and later re-released world wide in 2001 by the German label Velvet/GTN. RA remained primarily a solo project by Christer Borge-Lunde until late 2006 when Lars W. Lind and Christer Borge-Lunde decided to continue working with RA together. RA was finally back to the way it was intended from the very beginning, both musically and spiritually. The original sound of the band was created by Lars and Christer, the later and newer developed RA sound you can hear on the album "9th" released on Suntrip records and various compilations.

Protostar is a melodic psychedelic trance & ambient project directly inspired by science fiction, astronomy and cosmology. Their music is strongly focused on hypnotic melodies, dreamy atmospheres and powerful rhythms packed in sleek, epic sounding productions. By combining the cutting edge with the old school spirit of Goa trance, Protostar's sound turns into a timeless style of trance music where many fans of different sub-genres will find common ground. Protostar consists of Bjørn Marius Borg (Bariuz from Cyberdyne Club) & Hasse Mattsson, also known from Xenturion Prime and the late electropop/EDM band Code 64.

Roland Lifjell is without a doubt one of the biggest (and oldest) names in the Norwegian techno scene and industry. He’s been actively DJ’ing all over the country for over 20 years, and has also been frequently involved with production, radio, record labels and distribution. In addition, Roland Lifjell - who also runs his very own vinyl record shop Filter Music in downtown Oslo – is renowned for his “Roland-sound” under the artist alias Audibelle. A local scene legend not to be missed. |
