| Kanye West has had to postpone his upcoming Australian dates to finish work on a forthcoming album, according to reports.
The 'Yeezus' rapper was set to head Down Under in May but Live Nation has issued a statement saying the seven dates have now been pushed back until September so he can work on his new album.
"Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia.
"The tour dates originally scheduled from May 2 to May 11, 2014 will now be played from September 5 to September 15, 2014."
All tickets will be usable for the rearranged dates. Anyone who cannot attend the new dates must contact Ticketek by April 30 to arrange a refund.

September 7 - Entertainment Centre, Adelaide
September 9 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
September 10 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
September 12 - Qantas Credit Card Arena, Sydney
