| Diddy and Guy Gerber announced that their collaborative dance album will be released this summer. It’s been a long time coming since the unlikely duo started working together in 2011.
At last week’s IMS Engage conference, Forbes’ wealthiest hip-hop artist described the record as ‘underground dance’ and waxed poetic about his spiritual experience in Ibiza in 2003.
Diddy hosted a listening party for 11:11 at the Red Bull Guest House in Miami a month ago and said the album is not for everybody but for the “demented after hours minds”.
And although the origins of the name ‘11:11’ are still unknown, it was undoubtedly a good decision from Diddy’s original desire to call the album ‘Ketamine’. |
