| This sixth album from the Aussie downtempo singer/songwriter comes four years after 2010's We Are Born. Her most successful album to date, it went to number two in her home country, but her subsequent fear of fame led to drug and alcohol problems and a suicide attempt, and she eventually negotiated a new contract with RCA stipulating that she would not have to tour or do press. Her experiences have naturally shaped a much darker record than before, of which the powerful, almost overwhelming single "Chandelier" is the first fruit. |
