| Skrillex recently dropped his debut album 'Recess' upon unsuspecting fans and it appears that was just the beginning of a host of surprising releases.
Speaking to Billboard, Sonny Moore spoke of the record, claiming more material should be expected throughout the year.
"This album [Recess] is kind of like the first wave of a lot more stuff to come, just songs flying out left and right kind of thing. That's kind of what to expect: spontaneous releases."
With the likes of Chance The Rapper, Diplo and Kill The Noise among the many collaborators on 'Recess', there's no doubt he'll be teaming up with more big names.
"There's so many other collaborations that I can't really say yet but that have been left over from the record. I'm excited for the new stuff to come out that no one's heard yet."
And his spontaneous roll continues, as he's issuing 'Recess' on cassette especially for Record Store Day. A neat move indeed, we're looking forward to seeing what Sonny comes up with next. |
