| Dirtybird founder Claude VonStroke and Chicago house legend Green Velvet have announced that they are set to collaborate on a new side project called ‘Get Real’.
After a spontaneous back-to-back session at the Miami Music Week earlier in the year, the Midwestern pair have been working to get a new music ready and have planned three shows between Christmas and New Year in LA, Detroit and Chicago to demo the new material on the road.
Green Velvet has made several appearances at VonStroke’s Dirtybird events and was arguably the act of the weekend at HARD Day of the Dead in November where he spun under his Cajmere moniker.
There’s no word yet on when the music will start to roll off the production line, but with their legacies already firmly parked in the upper-echelons of American dance music you can forgive us for being pretty hyped about this news. |
