| The moment you've all been waiting for has arrived; Paris Hilton is packing up her pre-recorded sets and finishing her residency at Amnesia in Ibiza.
Maybe the second most controversial thing on the island behind the ridiculously expensive water, Foam & Diamonds was held at Amnesia for five years, but now the heiress will be leaving the White Isle all together.
The Olive Report writes that Hilton said: “I want to thank my fans for their loyalty. We have lived five wonderful years in Ibiza, a very special place for me, but that is now over.
"Ibiza is a magical island. I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager. I feel like if I were an island, I would be Ibiza. It’s fun – the energy, the music, the people."
Anyone that's seen British comedy About A Boy will know the bit about being Ibiza is taken straight from the mouth of Hugh Grant's character Will.
However, she'll be saying farewell to 'beefa this summer and could possibly play some one-off shows on fellow Balearic island Mallorca, according to reports.
For all the stick she gets for her DJ antics, and being the highest-paid female DJ in the world, it turns out she's got some sense of musical taste. Last year she was spotted partying at Circoloco at DC-10 with Nicole Moudaber. |
