| Following a stupendous year where her experimental RnB sound was distilled into one body of work in the form of her critically acclaimed debut LP, ‘Take Me Apart’, Simple Things are excited to be welcoming Kelela to Bristol in February 2018 for her first ever headline show in the city.
Released through Warp Records, ‘Take Me Apart’ featured highly in end-of-year lists by Crack Magazine, Noisey, The Quietus, Complex and Vulture. The boundary-pushing album showcased Kelela’s futurist post-genre vision with addictive, progressive pop songs produced by likes of Arca, Jam City and Kelela herself – merging the innovations of electronic music with the serene sensuality of RnB.
