It's been a long-running saga but Pharrell Williams and Will.i.am's legal battle is finally over...it seems. It all started last year when the Black Eyed Peas man disputed Pharrell launching his I Am Other brand, claiming it looked and sounded too similar to his I.Am.Symbolic company. But it was Pharrell who actually filed a lawsuit in New York federal court, seeking a declaratory judgment of trademark non-infringement, only adding confusion to the whole matter. Although there has been no official statements released by neither of the parties, they have apparently told a judge they have spoken between themselves and reached an amicable agreement. About time.
