| Giorgio Moroder will make his Australian debut in June as part of the Vivid Sydney festival of light, music and ideas.
The 74-year-old dance music pioneer will take over the Sydney Opera House for the final weekend of Vivid Live, the festival's musical focal point, performing a special career-spanning DJ set and engaging in a Q&A session.
The UK's Heritage Orchestra will also be performing an "epic electro-orchestral tribute to the maestro" later in the evening on June 1.
Australian favourites The Presets' collaboration with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, 'Timeline', had previously been announced as part of the 18 day festival, while electro-pop legends Pet Shop Boys will headline the Steve Pavlovic curated 'Modulations' at Carriageworks from June 6-8.
