| LA producer Shlohmo hit at out at the "suit musicians" in the music industry while he was in London for his show at The Laundry in Hackney last week.
In an interview with Notion, the producer, whose real name is Henry Laufer, spoke about his views towards the music industry, stating that "There’s not a fucking thing that doesn’t suck about it."
He also went on to slam some of the musicians that are emerging at the moment, saying that: "Every fucking musician nowadays is a suit. They’re on soundcloud with their ties on, trying to advertise; paying for advertisements on Facebook, trying to get me to like their fucking page and download their EPs and shit."
Not content with just slating the majority of people involved with the music scene, he also claimed that illegal downloading is something he still takes part in: "I love illegal downloading! I fucking download everything for free. I don’t pay for anything. I will find a way to make money, download my music. My manager will fucking hate me for saying this, but for real, pirate shit. I don’t care. I do it." |
