Belgium's Tomorrowland festival has enlisted German film composer Hans Zimmer to create a classical piece of music celebrating the 10th anniversary.
According to Billboard, Tomorrowland asked the Oscar-winning producer to compose something based on the "mystical, magical" attributes the festival prides itself on.
Recorded in London, the hymn is set to be premiered this summer - the festival takes place on July 18 to 20 and July 25 to 27 - and become the official soundtrack.
Zimmer spoke of the piece of music, stating it is about integrating cultures: "Tomorrowland is a known quantity to me and after 10 years, I think they deserve something decent for their anniversary.
"The hymn is about bringing different cultures together, and all the things that make us different are actually the things we should be celebrating." |
