| Kindness has finished a second, yet to be named album, to follow his 2012 debut 'World, You Need a Change of Mind’.
The album is currently at its mixing stage with revered sound engineer Jimmy Douglass, who’s worked with the likes of Roxy Music, Aaliyah and Justin Timberlake.
Perhaps telling of the project’s musical direction is the fact it is produced by legendary R&B producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, the duo responsible for most of Janet Jackson’s #1 singles.
Speaking to Pitchfork, Kindness aka Alan Bainbridge, confirmed collaborations with experimental R&B singer Kelela, Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes and Swedish pop star Robyn.
The new album, set to include a lot of raw vocals and first takes, doesn’t have a release date yet. |
