Knife Party's forthcoming (though now distinctly 'come') album 'Abandon Ship' has been unexplainably released two weeks early on iTunes, and has rocketed up the charts in the US, UK and Australia.
Unbeknown to the band and the management, the album was released early on Apple's music store though no one seems to be particularly bothered by the news.
"The good news I guess is that it's currently No.3 in the US, No.2 in Australia and No.4 in the UK," said the Knife Party's manager Jho Oakley.
Earlier this week Skrillex's fans were treated to a "leak" of his 'Ragga Bomb V Easy My Mind Remix EP', and one wonders how many more spontaneous leaks we have in the pipeline.... |
