| Kim Kardashian says she owes her 'career to social media' and 'can handle' the lack of privacy in interview before Paris robbery
Kim Kardashian raved about social media and said she could 'handle' the loss of privacy in an interview conducted before her Paris robbery.
'There are pitfalls. Lack of privacy, loss of privacy. And that's not for everyone. For me, I can handle it,' she told 60 Minutes.
Elsewhere in the interview she explained: 'I totally attribute my career to social media.'
Asked about her talent, she said, 'It is a talent to have a brand that's really successful off of getting people to like you for being you.'
She also conceded 'I guess so, yeah,' when asked if she had 'figured out how to monetize just the act of living.'
Meanwhile, earlier this month the star saw the negative and terrifying side of that fame, as she was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel. |
