| In a show of solidarity, players at numerous NFL games today kneeled during the National Anthem, while their teammates stood with locked arms. The only exception was the Pittsburg Steelers, who players mostly didn't leave the locker room until the anthem was over, as ABC News reports.
Meanwhile, President Trump continued tweeting his own commentary, which varied from endorsing players standing, announcing that NHL team the Pittsburgh Penguins will be visiting the White House instead of the Warriors, and a return to his campaign theme to make America great again — with a few retweets thrown in supporting a boycott of the NFL if they allow players to kneel and one unknown source featuring a veteran who ostensiby lost his legs in battle.

In a game played at London's Wembley Stadium, dozens of players for the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars knelt during the playing of the National Anthem, ESPN reports. Around 7 players took a knee on the Ravens side — the first time any of their players had done so. Players for the Jaguars held hands on the sidelines while about 10 members of the team took a knee. All of the players stood during the playing of the UK National Anthem. |
