| The well-documented softening of New York’s luxury market has led many sellers of high-priced properties to slash asking prices—and even beloved, Academy Award-winning actors aren’t immune.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Meryl Streep, actual celebrity royalty, has re-listed her stunning Tribeca penthouse, which first hit the market last summer. When it initially listed, the four-bedroom apartment at the River Lofts condo was asking $24.6 million; now, the price has dropped to $18.25 million. The Oscar-winning actress also switched brokerages, from Douglas Elliman to Sotheby’s International Realty. |
