| Facebook Inc. has acquired Little Eye Labs, a little known Indian startup that analyzes data, in a move tipped to strengthen its mobile services globally.
Facebook didn’t comment on the terms of the deal, but its purchase of Little Eye Labs will be the Menlo Park, Calif.-based social networking website’s first ever acquisition of an Indian company. It also comes at a time when Facebook is focusing on reaching more users through mobile phones and tablet computers, as an increasing number of people access the Internet through such devices. |
