| Adventure Club is a Canadian EDM duo, composed of Christian Srigley and Leighton James. The duo is based out of Montreal, Quebec and formed while attending high school. The group began as a hardcore pop-punk band, but later decided to move onto the more electronic sound of dubstep after simply getting bored with the pop-punk sound. These beginnings influenced their progression into the electronic music world, as the first song to put the duo on the map was their remix of the song "Daisy" by the American alternative-rock band Brand New. Since, the duo have toured across North America, as well as parts of Europe and Australia and have played at various music festivals including the American Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. They also made their first appearance at the Ultra Music Festival 2013 in Miami. Some of their noteworthy hits include remixes such as "Crave You" by Flight Facilities, "Youth" by Foxes, and "Lullabies" by Yuna. The two are skilled at putting a dubstep spin to songs and in the process, creating epic sounding ballads . Their remixes range from 1950's classics, post-hardcore rock to the current electronic sounds of today. |
