| Eric Prydz announced on Twitter today that he and fellow Swede Jeremy Olander are looking for new tracks from up-and-coming producers for their back-to-back Essential Mix, which is set to air on January 3.
Coming back to the show after his storming session last year was voted ‘Essential Mix of the Year’, Prydz initially announced that he would be doing the set with a ‘special guest’. After massive collaborative shows with Deadmau5 in Miami and HARD's Day of the Dead this year, many thought Joel Zimmerman that would be joining him, though Prydz soon followed up by revealing that it would be he and Pryda Friends darling Olander going back-to-back.
It could be a few years before you find yourself behind the decks on Pete Tong’s iconic show, but getting your latest track dropped in an Essential Mix by one of the industries most respected figures is a pretty good start. |
