| NOISIA INVITES RETURNS TO MELKWEG DURING ADE
Dutch Groningen-based drum ’n bass act Noisia will be hosting a new edition of Noisia Invites in the Melkweg during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Following the sold-out club nights during this year’s 5 Days Off and ADE in 2013, Saturday 18 October will once again be boasting one impressive line-up. This edition´s major headliner is Chase & Status, tearing up The Max with their all too familiar drum ‘n bass and trap filled sound. The night will further include a mix of drum ´n bass, trap and bass acts, such as Wilkinson, ƱZ, Black Sun Empire, Teddy Killerz, Mefjus and Hybris. Visuals will as per usual be provided by Groningen collective WERC. Presale has started.
Chase & Status has been one of the main killer acts at festivals in the past years. Having performed at all the major venues and festivals across the globe and in the Netherlands including the Alpha tent at Lowlands and Pinkpop, their show guarantees one massively wild party. Second guest headliner Wilkinson has been making a stir this last year with his hit Afterglow, which has had over 18 million views on YouTube. This Brit releases on Andy C’s Ram Records label. The third main guest is pioneer of trap sound ƱZ, who has kept his identity a mystery to the world for more than two years.
Groningen-based Noisia is known worldwide for their fresh sound which immediately stands out when played on the dance floor. A leading act within the drum ‘n bass and heavy bass scene, they recently released the Purpose EP on their own label Visual Recordings. Last year they performed during ADE as I Am Legion – a project in collaboration with Foreign Beggars – and this time round the trio will be entering the booth “solo” again.
