| Ahead of Time Warp Netherlands this weekend, organisers of the festival have warned attendees about "extremely dangerous cocaine" being sold in Amsterdam.
Two British tourists died last week after snorting pure heroin that they thought was cocaine, which led to warning signs being erected outside Central Station and the Rembrandtplein and Leiseplein squares.
With Time Warp taking over Jaarbeurs Utrecht on December 6, the event's Facebook page has posted an official warning from the Dutch government.
The post reads: "Several tourists were hospitalised with life-threatening conditions after using cocaine bought on the street which was actually white heroin. Please stay away from any street dealers!" |
