| Deadmau5 has spoken of a new live show he's planning to launch next year.
Although the Rubik's Cube has long been part of Joel Zimmermann's live shows, plans are in place for another extravagant, five-year project, coming at a cool multi-million dollar price.
Speaking to inthemix at Future Music Festival, the Canadian revealed his team wasn't too far away from raising the required funds, sarcastically claiming they were "only like $6 million away now" because he "found some money under my couch".
"We’re getting here. We’re close. As soon as this [Australia and Asia tour] is done, we’re gonna start working on it, because we already received a little over half the funding, so we can just go. It’s not like you have to pay it all upfront; that’s what fucking bank loans are for."
He's keeping his cards close to his chest about the whole deal but we do know it will be a 360 degree show and only feature in arena shows rather than festivals. |
