Sometimes the best trips you take are the ones that are close to home. INSIDER teamed up with travel booking site Expedia to see which American cities were the most popular in 2017. Expedia looked at roundtrip flight bookings in the country during a one-year window from December 1, 2016 to December 1, 2017 and ranked the top 10 most-visited cities right here in the U.S.
