Instagram-sensation the Museum of Ice Cream is making a permanent return to New York City. The haven for ice cream aficionados announced that it will open a new permanent 25,000-square-foot space at 558 Broadway in Soho this fall. The three-floor location will feature 13 installations, including one called “Celestial Subway,” its signature sprinkle pool, and a “Queen Bee hive.” “I want to continue to connect people and create moments of joy through ice cream. MOIC NYC will build upon Soho’s artistic history and contribute to the neighborhood’s resurgence as a place for imagination and creativity,” Museum of Ice Cream co-founder and creative director Maryellis Bunn said in a statement. New Yorkers can sign-up for an early access waitlist. Tickets, which are $38 per person, will launch sales on October 9. The Museum of Ice Cream, founded in 2016, has featured pop-ups across the country with locations in Los Angeles and Miami. The only other city that has a permanent location is San Francisco.
