| Steve Aoki has announced the first part of his two-part new album ‘Neon Future’ will be out in August.
In ‘Neon Future I’ the Grammy-nominated DJ and producer explores his fascination with futurism, technological innovation and its relationship with people.
"I see the future in a more of a utopian sense, built through technology, music and colour", says Aoki. "These concepts became the driving force for the creation of my first double album."
The first single featuring Waka Flocka Flame ‘Rage the Night Away’ is out now.
Aoki has also collaborated on the album with Flux Pavilion, will.i.am, Machine Gun Kelly, and more.
To celebrate the release, Aoki is headlining Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, August 16, followed by main stage sets at Mysteryland in NYC and Spring Awakening in Chicago.
‘Neon Future I’ is released on August 12 on Dim Mak/ Ultra music. Part two is due some time in early 2015. |
